1st Preg... 5 Weeks 6 days

Hi Everyone,  This is my first time posting.  I'm sure this has been brought up numerous times, but I couldn't find anything on it.  I'm 5 weeks 6 days pregnant and today I started to spot.  Its a light pink/brown.  I called my Dr and spoke with the nurse on hand and she told me that I shouldn't worry unless it gets heavier and red.  In that case go to the ER.  She said since I'm in the inbetween phase it's a 50% to hear the h/b.  

I was hoping to get some input back on if this is a regular occurance, common, nothing to worry about.  I  have been worried all day, I know I shouldn't be.  PLEASE HELP!!!
