So DH's mom is convinced that in order for baby to develop a round head after birth, it must be rubbed on a regular basis in order to 'shape' it. To me, that sounds kind of hoaky and old wivesy, but I just wanted to check if anyone else has heard this in the past. Personally, I don't know anyone who spent time rubbing their kids' heads to make sure that they rounded out after birth, and I definitely don't see people walking around with giant flat spots on the back of their head either...
