Tips for Nursing in Public?

I haven't ventured out for any extended outings yet, so haven't had the need to NIP yet. I'm trying to practice in the house so I can get used to it. I am rather large breasted, so it seems like it makes it harder to be discreet. Any tips? I've been trying to use a shawl to cover up, but I find the hardest part is getting the nursing bra opened/closed with only one hand while I hold LO. 

How do you do it to avoid flashing everyone?
