Mastitus and successfully continuing to BF

Two nights ago DD only woke up once to eat in a 10 hour window as opposed to eating 3+ times per night. i was extremely sore that morning and by afternoon had a very sore/tender spot on my breast along with fever,chills etc. i was able to call & get some antibiotics. i am just concerened that this will affect breastfeeding for us. If you have had mastitus please share how it affected you to continue BF.Also if you know anything about taking probiotcs to avoid thrush (how much to take etc) Thanks.
