Change in habits at 4.5 months?

Up until a week ago ds would poop at least three times a day and often more. For the past week he's only pooped once a day. He still has lots of wet diapers. I've also noticed he's been eating less. He went from 12+ to 10 ounces at daycare and from 35 to 20 minutes at the breast  im pretty sure hes always been a very efficient eater  Is this just a normal stage?
