My feelings are really hurt - hubby-related

So, this is my first "official" mothers' day - by this time last year, we were still pregnant with DD.

So far, my only 'Happy Mothers' Day' has come from my brother who just called me. MH is very pretty active in church so he is usually out of the house on Sunday mornings by 8 am. However, this morning, I expected a whole lot more than his usual routine - a kiss and a Happy Mothers' day wish would have been great, not asking for any gifts.

Alas, he just left the house and didn't wish me a happy mother's day. I just broke down in tears as my feelings are really really hurt!

Are these hormones or are my expectations on point? He is not an overly emotional person but does do it right - gifts, etc - when times require.

I don't know why but this just hurt me a LOT ..........................................................
