Breastfeeding class question

Hi everyone,

Haven't posted on this board yet but I am planning on breastfeeding when my baby arrives. The hospital where I'm delivering offers breastfeeding classes and recommends bringing your husband.

1. Do you think taking the class at 38 weeks is too close to my due date?

2. Did you think it was necessary for your DH to be there?

I can sign up for an earlier class and go solo, but my DH won't be able to make it to any class but the one when I'm 38 weeks.
