Painful let-down?

Has anyone experienced a really painful let-down? Did it get better? I swear it feels like a hundred knives stabbing me in the boobs. It's over pretty quickly and doesn't seem quite as bad if I'm not as full (but still definitely happens). My let-down was not like this at all with DD1, so this is new to me. It won't make me stop, but I was hoping it would go away. Six weeks in and no luck yet...
