Anyone else terrified of an episiotomy?

I'm carrying a big boy, so the doctor introduced the idea that if he's too big, a c-section might be on option. So I'm trying to tell myself that I WILL have a natural delivery, but then the thought of an episiotomy terrifies me too!!!

Maybe none will happen, but I'm just freaking out. Has anyone had one and was it terrible? No sugar coating- I want the awful truth.
