XP: Biting

Has there ever been anyone that had their nipple bitten off by their LO? I feel like I'm just about there. My DS has 6 teeth, and is a biter. When I say biter, I mean he bites me pretty much every day, and sometimes more than once a day (and I only nurse him maybe 3-4 times a day), he gets bottles when he's at the babysitter's. I'm so scared to feed him, I'm always expecting him to clamp down on my nip, and it's terrifing me.

I've tried all the tricks I've read about, smothering, flicking, stopping him from nursing, etc. I can't figure this out!

Anyone else that has/had a biter, what did you do to stop it? I'm not ready to give up on nursing, but I'm getting darn close.
