room temp question

I know this is asked all the time, but wanted to be sure - bm is ok at room temp for 6-10 hours, but is that ok to then use immediately after that, or can I refridgerate it after 6 hours and then follow the fridge guidelines (6-8 days)? Our fridge at work is dying, and what I pumped this morning will have been at almost room temp for about 6 hours by the time I get home.
