Discharge question...sorry, this may be TMI

I feel funny to even ask this and never would on any other forum but this one, so consider yourselves lucky heheh

Yesterday, I started experiencing a light greenish color discharge.  My "lady parts" down there feel really irritated or something and kind of burns and itches.  I'm thinking it could be a yeast infection and will ask when I go to my first appointment on 5/21, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this at all.  It's uncomfortable, but not a constant unbareable pain, but of course I worry over everything.
