Painting

Morning!

My H is leaving tomorrow for a long weekend trip to Vegas with his brother for a bachelor party and I wanted to surprise him with painting our bathroom.  We re-did the floor and put a new vanity in about a month ago and haven't had time to paint the bathroom.  So...is it ok to paint in the first trimester or at all?  Guess I've heard in the past that you shouldn't but I really don't know if it's ok or not.  I can call my dr, but wanted to check to see if any of you knew.  Thanks!
