Questions to ask on first appt

Another poster reminded me that I wanted to ask about this.  My first appointment is a dating/medical history on the 22nd.  I'd wanted to mention that I've been anemic on and off most of my adult life and ask them to check my iron count.  And my mom had gestational diabetes with all 3 of us, so is that something I need to ask/worry about as well?

 What sort of things do you ask on your first appointment?
