clogged milk duct!

Went to the doctor's today for a follow up regarding my bp (had to be induced due to pre eclampsia 3 weeks ago). I explained to her that I've been feeling a burning sensation on my left breast after breastfeeding and she examined my breast and told me I have a clogged milk duct. Any of you ladies experienced this before?

 She suggested a warm compress and to massage the breast in a downward motion during a warm shower. Any other suggestions? Hellllpppppp!
