I feel beaten to the punch on the announcement-how long is too long to wait

Feel a little selfish yes. But I was really looking forward to telling my parents soon. But today my brother's girlfriend said she was pregnant. She had a postive test (at home kind) 2 days ago.

So that's some drama. I'm hopeful for my brother! It's a little different situation...I'll spare the details.

But I want to wait longer now to tell them about our pregnancy because I don't want it ...colored... by the other news. Also not to mention we could litterally both have the babies at the same time. Wouldn't that be a scene made for the movies.

I don't know if I'm going to need to tell my mom soon anyway to get the info I need for our first dr's visit. Ug. So weird.
