:( Not making enough milk. (also on april 2012)

Monday we had a weight check for Kiernan.  She was born at 6 lbs 14 ounces and we were discharged at her weighing 6 lbs 1 ounce.  At her one week on monday she weight 6lbs 1 ounce and they had me breast feed her there.  After the feeding she weighed 5 lbs 14 ounces.  They said she expelled more energy then she took in from my feeding.  We went back in today and she weighed 6lbs.  They had me feed her and after she finished she weighed 6lbs 1 ounce.  They had me try a bottle and she drank 1 more ounce of formula.  

I really really wanted to be able to breast feed her and the pedi says I am not making enough milk and that I now need to supplement.  I am heart broken.  We will supplement because she needs to gain weight I just feel like a failure, that I cant do this for her, I cant nourish her.  How do I increase my production?  I am taking fenugreek, drinking mother's milk tea, and will be eating more oats.  I just ...I had a crying melt down at the pediatricians.
