BF and painkillers (do they mix)

Hi,

I'm a FTM and wondering if I can breastfeed while on painkillers (pregnant with twins and I have to have a c-section). I know this sounds odd...but my head keeps telling me that I have to forget BF or the painkillers. I want to BF but I'm not looking forward to the pain from the c-section.
