Membrane Stripping (did it work for you) copied from May '12

Hi ladies! I'm 38 wks today and on kiddo #2. I had my membranes stripped this morning at 3cm, 50% eff and -1 station. I know it's still 2 weeks until due date but did membrane stripping work for you? Also, primrose oil....have you used this and did it work to help you move along? My doc told me it's ok to use even after the membranes are stripped. TIA!
