Baby shower hostess gift?

Hi ladies! I am having my baby shower in two weeks and am a stickler for etiquette. My mom and best friend are hosting the shower at my home. Should I buy them a hostess gift? I have tried to look up the proper etiquette for that and can't seem to find anything. What do you all think?
