Baby dropping?

How can you tell the baby is beginning to drop? I'm 35w3d and whenever I think my little girl is starting to she always finds her way back up in my ribs. I felt crampy all day yesterday, definitely urinating more and I keep thinking I feel her moving her head lower in my abdomen. Of course now she is balled up under my ribs sticking her little bum out like a mini mountain in my stomach lol I know that once she does drop there's a whole new set of aches and pains, but I would love for the pressure on my ribs to ease up a little lol
