Promethazine/Phenergan

My high risk ob prescribed me promethazine/phenergan for morning sickness and nausea I am still dealing with because the over the counter stuff I was using was pure sugar and I now have GD. Anyways, have any of you that take this read what this is used for and the symptoms of it? OMG at first I thought maybe they had prescribed me the wrong thing! I just took my first dose so I don't know how it is going to affect me, but it is used to sedate people for surgery
