Does carrying low mean anything?

I've been carrying low the entire time and now it seems like my belly is even pointing down like a torpedo. The pregnant insanity is allowing me to entertain the idea that this might mean early labor, or at least not overdue, but I'll let more rational minds prevail... mean anything?
