Question about cramps

I am still 3 weeks away from the 3rd trimester but I am not getting much of a response on my birth month board. I have been having slight period cramps on and off the past 3 days. I had a lot of cramping my first trimester but really none since then. I don't think they are contractions but I was wondering if anyone has had anything similar?
