Explain rotating freezer stash to me

I just went back to work on Monday. I have about 150oz of freezer stash built up. This is my feeding/pumping schedule:

I pump when I wake up at 5:30am, I get an average of 8 oz. I nurse Belle before I leave for work at about 7:30. I pump once at work around noon (which is one time more than I was planning to pump at work!)  and get about 4-5 oz. Then I nurse on demand the rest of the evening after I get home from work (about 5:00pm)

She takes 3 4oz bottles at DC. So I send the 8oz I pump in the morning, plus I thaw a bag from my freezer stash and send that to DC. Then I freeze what I pump at work to replace that bag.

From what I've seen here, most people send all frozen milk on Mondays, pump to feed the rest of the week, then freeze what they pump on Friday.

Is there an advantage to doing it the "normal" way vs. the way I'm doing it?
