For those of you who live out of state from Fam/Friends

We live in Atlanta and most of our fam/friends live in Minnesota.  DH's mom lives in Indiana. So everyone has to travel to come see the baby once she arrives.  We only have a 2 bedroom apartment so we are saying only 1 person can come visit at a time. Only one person has set the dates they are coming so far (coming for the weekend, 2 weeks after my due date). I would like someone to be here when DH first goes back to work as he works 12 hour days and can be gone for 14 hours with his commute, but without knowing when the baby is going to arrive I can't really plan ahead. Anyone who has been through this...how hard is it to be alone with the baby at first? Should I make sure I have someone here the first few days I am alone?
