Repeat c-section=no internals?

I asked my OB at my 33/34 week checkup when I would have another internal...the reason I asked is because I had not had one in a LONG time...She told me that because I was full term with DS#1 and I had a scheduled c-section, that there was no reason to do one????? Doesn't this seem off/odd? What if I was dilating/was going to go early...there would be no way of knowing???!!! WDYT?
