2nd time moms who had a vaginal birth and section?

Hi!  I posted a few days ago about a choice I have to make related to intermediate shoulder dystocia risk.

Right now I am still on the "natural birth" side and leaning to telling my doc no to the elective section.

However, I was just looking for comparison experiences from moms who have had both, a vaginal followed by a section or  section and VBAC?  I guess my question is recovery consideration, how quickly you see your little one after birth, the overall experience, etc.
