Milk monster?

LO has started this new, painful trend of latching, unlatching, pulling, tugging, and grunting loudly and vivaciously while feeding.  I can't seem to find info on this besides him possibly going through another growth spurt. Advice? It is getting painful when he does this, otherwise, bf hasn't been painful with the exception of the first week.
