Low Platelets

April 2012 in 3rd Trimester

I'm not quite in my third, but thought it would be best to ask y'all...

I have a lot platelet count. It has dropped from 149,000 to 127,000 over the course of several weeks. My midwife told me to take Hemaplex, but that if it keeps dropping I may need to have a hospital birth (opting for birth center now.)

Any of you have issues with low platelets? What did you do if anything?
