Early labor or false alarm?

I'm 38 weeks and have been having menstrual-like cramps, a wicked lower backache, and an overwhelming feeling of nausea for the  past twelve hours.  Could this be early labor, should I call my Dr.'s office because this seems like a long time to have been having these symptoms.
