XP - milk blister?

Have you had a milk blister? I guess they're also called a "bleb." I remember having it with DS, but I don't remember it being this painful + annoying or having it last so long. Any great advice on how to get rid of it? The Internets tells me I should try to pick it off with a sterilized pin... Yikes!
