Pumping for one bottle Question

So I wanted to pump a bottle for DH to give LO at night so I can get a break. I read online that it's best to pump after a feeding? Does that mean right after LO is done eating or an hour after they eat? Cause right after she finished I went and pumped and barely got an ounce, but DH said that is because I just fed her. So perhaps that was a stupid mistake and I misunderstood what "after a feeding meant" or now I am concerned I don't have a lot of milk. 

Also second question, my breasts feel way soft anymore, is this normal at the 2 week PP point?
