Hospitals to hand out swaddlers?

At my pre-registration, the nurse lady was going through a newborn care booklet/magazine thing (which she did not let me take home - I won't get it until I leave the hospital - grr). And of course swaddling was in it. She mentioned eventually the hospital is going to add a swaddler to the list of things they give new moms to take home. I thought it was interesting. Does anyone else's hospital do this?
