Just found out my doctor prefers to induce?

I was talking to my doctor yesterday, and I told him I planned to go natural (which is said is totally my choice, and supports me 100percent) I asked if we needed a birth plan. He said that he doesn't do written birth plans, he said to much can change for both mother and baby by time delivery comes. That's when he told me he only is available to deliver on Wednesdays (Unless he is on call). So he said he likes to induce that Wednesday before or the Wednesday of the 40th week.

Kinda took me by shock, as that's the first time he mentioned this. I am a little concerned, especially since I plan to go natural. I didn't want ANY medication or any assistance during child birth. Can anyone give me their experiences with being induced? I'm am officially nervous now!
