booger-ish like discharge (yeah, TMI and gross)....

I am just hitting the 3rd trimester (28 weeks yesterday!) and have been noticing very increased vaginal discharge the last couple of days.  No tinged-bloody or otherwise, just ALOT when I wipe.  Kinda reminds me of a big clump of snot.  I know vaginal discharge is supposed to increase but is this normal to have so much of it?  I searched the site and a few other posts say that it is, and one pointed out her dr. said the boogerish discharge might be because of dehydration. 

any thoughts or comments?  Thanks!
