Installing Car Seat

DH and I installed the car seat today. I'm officially nesting and wanted to get used to it being in the car before our LO makes her arrival.

I've been worrying ever since that it isn't quite right. I've watched video after video and read and reread the manual about 1000 times,but I'm just not convinced. We used the seat belt to secure the base because we weren't sure our car was equipped with the LATCH system. After some of my reading, I saw that all models 2002 and newer are required to be equipped with this system. 

I'm just confused! Do you know of any resources that will put my mind at ease or know how I can go about getting it checked by a professional?
