1 hr Glucose Test- Did you fast?

My OB's paperwork said "There is no need to fast before this test." So, I had an egg white & cheese bagel and a skinny latte with sugar free flavoring. They gave me the Trutol but told me my sugar would definitely be elevated and I'd need to do the 3 hr. 

Did you eat before your 1 hr? Did it mess up your test?? I feel like if it were that huge of a deal, the OB paperwork would have said "You can eat ABC but not XYZ." Right???
