TMI Post-Post Partum Question (experienced mamas)

Okay - sorry for being a post whore - but... Another question occurred to me I've been meaning to ask... Again warning TMI

After labor, does one's vagina go back to normal or is it forever 'tainted'?? How does everything go back in it's original place - or does it? Also - being a new mom and all, I doubt this will even be on mine & dh's mind - but is sex (climax) ever good again, for the woman - what about for the guy? Since basically violent occurrence is happening to one's lady parts.

Not too, too worried (okay a little) - but I am curious as well.
