FTM question re milk coming in

Hello! I have lurked on the bump boards throughout my pregnancy to get some information on what to expect when my DD arrived. Well, she arrived Tuesday and my milk came in today. I was set on EPing when I went in to deliver but then successfully breastfed several times in the hospital so I have decided to give it a try. I want to do a combination of both, I think. However, my milk came in today and my breasts are so hard and they hurt. She cannot latch on and I have pumped twice today for relief but they are still rock hard. (I got about 2 ounces each time). I do not want to commit to EPing exclusively yet but I am at a loss as to what to do  since my breasts are still so hard even after pumping for relief. Any suggestions? I am at a loss.

 **In the hospital, they fed her formula in the nursery a few times while she was there but I do not want to resort to formula feeding at this point. I would rather her receive breastmilk.
