question about frozen milk consistency

Hi, I've frozen some milk recently, but noticed that when it's thawed to use, there seem to be fat pieces that do not mix back into the milk. They formed a small pile (Born Free bottle stopper piece) when LO finished eating. He didn't seem to mind the milk and it doesn't smell/taste off. It was kept frozen securely in the freezer. It also doesn't happen with fresh expressed milk, only thawed milk. Also, the milk itself seems a bit yellowy.

Does anyone know what this is and if it's okay for LO?
