pumping for first bottle

i need to run a few errands this weekend without DS so DH wants me to pump and leave a bottle just in case.  I don't remember from DD at this age.  How much would a 2 1/2 week old take in a bottle?  When is the best time for me to pump if I nurse one side at each feeding?  With DD I pumped a lot to create a freezer stash and was always engorged which I don't want this time around.  Also, do we warm the bottle in hot water first?  Thanks so much for any advice and reminders.
