Bigger babies- still use pillow?

If you have a bigger baby, DS is 6 months and weighs 20 lbs, do you still use a nursing pillow? I don't need it, but it makes it easier for me. I just us what I have around. Like if I'm downstairs I use my breastfriend, and if I'm upstairs, I use the boppy, and at night I use the arm of the rocking chair. He just seems like dead weight once he relaxes, and wondered if Im the only one.
