STM's- Did your fetal movement stop or slow before/during labor?

I've read that the baby gets very still before and during labor and that feeling a lot of movement leading up to labor and during contractions is not very common. Yet, most of the STM's I have spoken to said this was not the case with them. I am just curious...I'm almost 38 weeks and LO has been just as active as ever. I think today he has chosen some Flamenco dancing as his prefered activity! Even though space is getting limited in there, he still seems to be stretching his limbs out quite frequently. Just wondering if I should be expecting or looking out for a change in his movement patterns these next few weeks? TIA!
