Weight gain question

Hi ladies,

I just want to make sure my baby is gaining enough weight. He is currently 7 weeks and weighs about 12 pounds 14 ounces (I used the digital scale in my bathroom so I could be off by a couple ounces either way). When he was born he weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and at his two week appointment he was 7 lbs 8 oz. does his weight sound about right?
