I am 28.3 days along, had a check up this morning and have gained 25 lbs. I am going to be honest, I am having a very hard time with this. I lift weights 2 nights a week, and I walk 1-2 miles 3-4 times a week.. and I watch what I eat w/ the exception of a treat every now and then.. (ok maybe I caved to that donut a few too many times...) but I am realizing I have 11 more weeks of this.. and at this point I can gain 1-2 lbs a week... it makes me want to cry.
I have a life long struggle with my weight, and have never been skinny- but I have been counting calories my entire pregnancy w/ the help of a nutritionist and well- i am just bummed.
I know that my body is supposed to gain weight, and I know for some people it doesnt matter what you do- but it doesnt change how I feel. I am so excited to meet my little daughter- I just wish that all this weight gain would go away the day she comes..
Anyone else struggling with this? What are you doing to help yourself keep realistic?
