LO always wants to be held

LO is 7 weeks today.  During the day, I end up holding LO constantly - I cant get her to nap anywhere besides on me.  This poses a problem with pumping, which I do on occasion so that I can stock up the freezer and also allow DH to feed her. On the very rare occasion that I have been able to get her down to nap, she always ends up waking mid pump, screaming bloody murder (I suspect she smells the milk). I am hoping in a few weeks she will become more independent, but am I now risking the ability to build up my supply later on?

 

FWIW - I can pump anywhere from 2 -4 oz after 15 minutes of pumping, depending on how long it was since last feeding - usually closer to 2.  Is this about right at this age?
