Sorry if TMI, painful pimples/bumps outside of vagina?

Hi,

Sorry is this is way TMI, but wondering if anyone has experienced this. In the last week, I have developed painful bumps on the outside of my va-jay-jay.. ! They hurt like they are pimples, or ingrown hairs.. There are about 3 or 4 or them. One is right in the area where my groin meets my thigh, so very painful when I walk! Don't know how to treat them??? Never had this before! 36 weeks pregnant, and sounds silly but too embrassed to ask my male OB...
