3wk growth spurt- boobs not keeping up

DD has cleaned me out the past 2 evenings and been inconsolably fussy. I figured out that she still wants to nurse but I'm totally empty. I am thinking my supply is lagging behind her growth spurt demand.  Is that possible?  I am nursing on demand, which is almost constantly from 6 or 7 on the past few days. Last night (this am) she was up from 3-5 and we seemed to have the same problem. Should I do something to increase my supply?  I don't pump but was planning on starting on Monday when DD1 goes back to school after being off for spring break. LO has never had a bottle or formula. I dont want to supplement but dug out a bottle in case we run into a problem again tonight
