was my period a fluke? is that possible?

I got my period when DS turned 5 months and boy was I bummed. However, that was almost 2 months ago and I haven't gotten one since. I've taken 3 pregnancy tests that were all negative and I figure it would have shown up on a test by now, right? Has this happened to anyone else? Has anyone gotten one period and then it went away again? MH keeps telling me he thinks I'm pregnant again but I keep testing and it's not showing up and I really don't feel pregnant. I would feel a lot better if the same thing had happened to anyone else out there!
